The Institution also operates several affirmative businesses: assembly and packing operation, toner cartridge division and switchboard operations, mail centers, cleaning and ground maintenance division. BDI Outsource Solutions

Many people with disabilities and disadvantages arrive at the doors of our facility with little or no work experience. Bobby Dodd Institute helps change that fact.

Clients of BDI are responsible for fulfilling real orders, and doing it well.

Because this is a training program, participants earn a stipend for their work. This stipend is based on a per-piece rate that encourages people with disabilities and disadvantages to work at their own rate to turn out a quality product. For many participants, the stipend is the closest thing to a paycheck they’ve ever earned. As their work skills grow, so does their pride in becoming a true wage earner.

This experience is made possible because our BDI Outsource Solutions division actively seeks out contract packaging and fulfillment opportunities with local companies. From collating marketing binders to repackaging paint to shrink-wrapping medical kits, our diverse capability allows us to be a turnkey workforce solution for businesses of all sizes.
